Working group Intercultural management

Our working group  meets at the workspace Intercultural management at of Japanese-German Business Association (DJW). We use discussions with successful practitioners to learn how to build synergy and trust each other cross-culture. Developing our coaching skills we wish to help boundary spanners to achieve better awareness and enable them to manage in multi-lingual workplaces. Following topics will be addressed throughout our manager training:

  • Awareness of cognitive processes in intercultural management
  • Recognizing and reconciling cultural differences
  • Creating cultural synergy and innovation
  • Networking for mutual trust

We encourage participants also to think critical about various cross-cultural management issues and international management ethics. We advise how to building trustful relationships with business partners from other cultures. We also suggest practical strategies for international team building. Applying a constructive, intercultural management approach they are enable to bridge Japanese and German culture as successful boundary spanner.

Forthcoming Events

DJW Working Group – Intercultural Management conducts online meeting the DJW Teams Workspace.  Under a new team five sessions are planned for the year 2024. We will discuss following topics important to succeed with intercultural management: 1. Cultural sensitivity, 2. Good communication, 3. Negotiation, 4. Change Management. Join our Working Group and participate in the next meeting entitled:
