Platforms for Management Geography 

The Association of Japanese Geographers (AJG) was originally founded by the support of the German geographer Johannes Justus Rein. Since then the association promoted research on various aspects of geography in Japan.  Heightening the international visibility the Association launched the English issue of the Geographical Review of Japan. We are grateful that our book entitled Management Geography-Asian Perspectives Focusing on Japan and Surrounding Regions has been promoted by AJG. ManGeo research group (国際経済経営地理学研究グループ) is committed to promote the agenda of Management Geography at level of AJG spurring international exchange.

Global Conference on Economic Geography (GCEG) has been established two decades ago following governance and principles announced at the Cologne GCEG (2018) gala dinner. GCEG serve global community of economic geographers conducting a global conference every 3 years. Our research group has been contributing pro-actively to GCEG from almost the beginning of this academic event. 

Geography of Innovation Conference: (GeoInno) The next conference takes place at The University of Manchester on 10th – 12th January 2024. The Geography of Innovation Conference provides a forum for discussion to scholars interested in scientific, policy and strategic issues concerning the spatial dimension of innovation activities.
