Our working group meets at the Japanese-German Business Association (DJW) TEAMS WORKSPACE Intercultural management. With practitioners we discuss intercultural competence building in order to create intercultural synergy. Sharing intercultural experiences we wish to heighten the awareness for better management practices in bilingual workplaces. Following topics will be addressed throughout our manager training:
- Awareness of cognitive processes in intercultural management
- Recognizing and reconciling cultural differences
- Creating cultural synergy and innovation
- Networking for mutual trust
We encourage participants also to think critical about various cross-cultural management issues and international management ethics. How to building trustful relationships with business partners from other cultures we like to discuss. Favoring a constructive intercultural management approach we like to enable DJW members to bridge Japanese and German culture as successful boundary spanner.
